Svensk Asfaltservice AB (Asfaltservice) provides services related to asphalt maintenance. We assume a holistic approach, in which our entire organization seeks solutions with sustainability and the environment in mind. Our vision is to offer an environmentally friendly method for asphalt maintenance based on long-term solutions.
Asfaltservice's goal is to modernize asphalt maintenance by developing products and services that focus on environmental, social and economic aspects. Our strategy is based on the fact that our employees have a shared responsibility for the sustainability work of the company. We strive to inspire suppliers and customers to choose more sustainable alternatives.
The Sustainability Policy applies to all business areas within Asfaltservice. Our sustainability work is ongoing and thus our policy is updated year on year. Our employees are expected to have good knowledge of the sustainability policy and our Managing Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with the policy.
Asfaltservice's overall objective and strategy aims to reduce our own and our customers negative impact on the environment. The most basic requirement is that we comply with applicable laws and regulations when handling asphalt. In addition to this, we operate at several different levels to reduce any negative environmental impact:
• REDUCED FOOTPRINT
We work to reduce the use and release of fossil fuels at every stage of manufacturing and machine usage. When manufacturing ScanMix, a smaller amount of fuel is used when compared to traditional asphalt.
We work systematically to reduce the number of suppliers, whilst increasing our demands on more environmentally friendly alternatives. We make sure that the products we purchase are as environmentally certified as possible.
• WASTE MANAGEMENT:
We are constantly working on minimizing, reusing and recycling waste.
